The City of East Providence has 21 areas for outdoor
recreation opportunities. All of these areas incorporate one
or more amenities such as tennis courts, park benches, softball,

- Recreation Center

The former Riverside Junior High School built approximately 80 years
ago is a three story structure that provides space for several service
agencies. This site is known as the East Providence Activities
and Recreation Center and is located at 100 Bullocks Point Avenue in
the Riverside section of the City. The Recreation Center has
provided indoor recreational activities for well over 25
years. The Recreation Department oversees more than 120
programs that span the generations at this venue. Details on
